Crius Energy is seeking a corporate Attorney to join the dynamic and growing Legal team. The Attorney will advise, consult, and carry out the legal processes necessary that effect the rights, privileges, and obligations of Crius Energy. They will work closely with the business units to provide legal advice on various matters.


  • Direct and/or supervise compliance team members and paralegals in the legal department.
  • Respond to Commission complaints and concerns.
  • Ensure sales teams are making sales in compliance with all laws
  • Gather evidence and information for management decision making.
  • Study, statues, case law and regulatory decisions and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies.
  • Prepare and review various legal instruments and documents, such as contracts, leases, purchases, sales, etc.
  • Advises officials on government regulations, and/or legal rights.
  • Interpret laws, ruling, and regulations for business clients.
  • Provide advice concerning transactions of business involving internal affairs, stockholders, directors, officers, and corporate relations with general public.
  • Act as an agent of Crius Energy in various transactions.
  • Confer with colleagues with specialty in areas of law to establish and verify basis for legal personnel.
  • Apply for copyrights or registration of Crius Energy’s products, processes, devices, and trademarks, advising to initiate or defend law suits.
  • Subsidiary management.
  • License filings and upkeep of regulatory filing for the business.
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions, other corporate transactions.
  • Assist with public company securities filings.


  • Completion of law school with an LLB degree or JD degree and admission to the bar is required.
  • 1-4 years of experience in legal field is required.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship skills are required.
  • Ability to handle the speed of change and development associated with a growing company.
  • Periodic travel is required to support the business units of the Company.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status).
