Overview

Our growing company is seeking a smart, well-rounded Technology Associate on the Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The Technology Associate is responsible for first response and replying to open tickets and inquiries that come into the technology desk. The Technology Associate must have the ability to identify, organize and resolve tickets according to priority. They must also possess working knowledge of technical logic and methodology to run computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems.
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT Tech Desk.
  • Document internal procedures.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
  • Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory.
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
  • Support company issued smartphones, including setup, upgrades and training.
  • Deploy and manage desk phones and its applicable application.
  • Work on a weekly call rotation schedule and be on call as required.
  • Able to work in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach.
  • Bring new ideas and solutions to problems.
  • Work both independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments.
  • Excellent customer service skills coupled with a friendly, approachable manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems
  • 1-2 years in a technology support role, preferred.
  • Eligible to work in the U. S. Independent of Company Sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Ability to work shifts, some weekends and occasional after hours when necessary.
  • Knowledgeable in the Microsoft stack:
    • Office Suite (On-premise or hosted)
    • Exchange
    • AD (user setup)
    • SharePoint – is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in PowerShell.
  • Should be able to support multiple computer platforms:
    • Microsoft OS’s, Apple OS’s & Linux OS’s
    • Knowledge in virtual platforms such as VDI is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in various mobile platform:
    • Android, IOS and windows
  • Knowledgeable supporting enterprise telephony environments
  • Experience in managing corporate print environments
  • Ability to deploy systems using enterprise imaging tools
  • Knowledgeable in supporting web based \ hosted systems
  • Knowledgeable of Risk Prevention techniques and tools:
    • Antivirus + malware
    • Backup and recovery
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status).
