Overview

The position uses structured analysis and design to plan steps for developing programs.

It requires familiarity with configuration control and system setup, system optimizing and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

  • Review Data Models/Databases or repositories within the company, compile documentation to describe internal programs, develop a manual for users to operating procedures and training.
  • Accommodate dynamic business support model. Evaluate user requirements for new or modified program.
  • Act as Project Coordinator and work with company’s Software Developer(s) to manage and deploy tools.
  • Design screen interfaces for end user. Develop technical product/business intelligence solution for system integration data manipulating purpose.
  • Create detailed BI reports, analyze company’s sales data and reconcile data across different systems.
  • Act as primary contact for all applications and web tools once in production.
  • Proactive support, trouble shoot, develop fixing solution, test and debug production system defect.
  • Act as IT support interface with internal team and external vendors to reach a resolution, including software application upgrades and other IT related activities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field of study
  • 2 years of experience as Developer or Programmer/Analyst or related.
  • Requires 2 years of experience in each of the following: Microsoft Azure and AWS; C#, Visual Studio 2010; T-SQL, Datamart, Microsoft SQL Management Studio 2014; Batch script and Active Batch; SSIS, SSAS and SSRS; SQL monitoring Tool: Idera and RedGate; Data analytics and data reconciliation; Pivot table, Vlookup and VBA; and SharePoint.
