Overview

The Commissions Analyst will work directly with the Commissions Director and Commissions Team Lead to ensure commission plans are programmed correctly and in a timely manner for internal and external customers. The main responsibility will be the commission calculation of channel partners, vendors, brokers, and employees, including weekly, monthly and ad-hoc promotions under the various Crius brands.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all commission inbox inquiries.
  • Generate ad-hoc reporting as required by management.
  • Analyze customer enrollments to ensure weekly and monthly commissions are paid accurately.
  • Analyze and maintain records of sales and commission data through various sources.
  • Calculate and authorize that weekly and monthly commissions are accurate and paid on time.
  • Record monthly calculated commissions for the general ledger.
  • Research and facilitate resolutions to sales commission related issues by identifying and reporting systematic or recurring problems.
  • Strive for continual improvement, making the various commission processes as efficient as possible.
  • Assist in policy and procedure documentation updates in relation to commissions.
  • Support additional projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Math, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business.
  • 1-2 years work experience.
  • Exceptional Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Access.
  • Works well independently, but understands significance of working as a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Analytical thinker.
  • Customer service oriented, and have a willingness to help sales reps, customer service reps and upper management understand and resolve commissions issues.
  • Flexibility, an open mind, and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status).
