Overview

The Financial Data Analyst will prepare financial reports that serve as summary information to managers. The Financial Data Analyst is responsible for identifying relevant insights and compiling analytical reports that enable other employees in the company to make sound decisions.  In addition, this role will support many of the Collections and Credit functions as well. 

Responsibilities

  • Examine existing datasets and reports to accelerate and improve current processes.
  • Employ effective data visualization techniques to tell the business story.
  • Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies.
  • Design, create and maintain reports and dashboards to track and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Prepare reports and projections based current and past financial data and performance.
  • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Other relevant duties may include providing support for financial inventory analysis, creation of annual operating plan, and special projects as needed to support cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or, Mathematics or Technology is required.
  • 2-3 years’ analytics experience, working with large amounts of data.
  • Experience with financial analysis or analytical tools.
  • High-level of experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Very strong Excel skills (advanced Pivot Table, advanced formulas, charts, VBA).
  • Previous hand-on experience working SAL and Access is highly desired.
  • Project management and very good communication
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status).
