Our growing company is seeking a smart, well-rounded College Student to join our Channel Sales department in the Summer of 2018. 


The role of the Channel Sales Intern is to collect, analyze, process, and report the sales related information in an ongoing attempt to increase sales productivity.  Similar to the Channel Sales Analyst, the Intern will record and evaluate the overall performance while considering the current market conditions. The Channel Sales Intern will create both custom and standardized reports, conducts sales and quantitative product analyses, provides support for brokers, our internal partners, and assesses future needs.  Additionally, the Intern will process all sales for the Mass Market Channel and provide accurate record keeping for verification.


  • Monitor broker fulfillment folders and the Mass Markets inbox continuously.
  • Gather weekly broker sales data from closed deals to manager.
  • Perform weekly broker commissions report for finance.
  • Update customer rates, contact information, and process transactions.
  • Communicate enrollment and customer issues to the proper department.
  • Utilize excel to create reports and be able to analyze requested data.
  • Process all custom pricing requests the same day they are turned by the brokers.
  • Compile competitive data and analyze how we are pricing in relation to other REP’s.
  • Work on corporate project with other Interns with a summer-end deliverable.


  • Rising Junior, Senior or member of a MBA program currently enrolled at a College or University.
  • Business Administration or similar majors preferred.
  • Ability to perform complicated analysis for forecasting and tracking sales.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel, Adobe, and Word skills including the ability to perform advanced functions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to think both analytically and creatively.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status)
