The Customer Project Specialist is a central member of Crius Solar’s Sales Operations team who works with salespersons and consumers throughout the solar installation process to provide a seamless customer experience.  The successful Specialist is a natural problem-solver and go-getter who is involved in all aspects of the customer journey; he or she is responsible for interacting with customers, working with inside and outside sales representatives, and coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure every customer project proceeds smoothly from sale to install.


The Customer Project Specialist will utilize Crius’s proprietary tools and provide general support for other business functions.  The Specialist will have a meticulous attention to detail and proactively work to improve both customer experience and general business processes.   • Provide real-time support to sales teams to ensure a smooth customer signing and onboarding process.
  • Welcome and communicate effectively with customers throughout their solar installation.
  • Schedule site inspections and coordinate with Crius installer teams.
  • Review customer agreements and other documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate directly with inside and outside sales channels to ensure each project is on track and all necessary steps are being completed.
  • Communicate regular updates on projects to all stakeholders.
  • Articulate final solar designs to customers and address project questions.
  • Interface with finance, utility companies, and county offices to ensure a seamless installation.
  • Pro-actively recommend improvements and drive change to streamline processes.
  • Work as a team player on a dynamic and caring team that recognizes we all win together.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the solar or energy industry is a plus.
  • Customer service and project or account management experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer focused with close attention to detail.
  • Strong problem solving capabilities and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and proven computer literacy.
  • Customer support hours may require evening and weekend staffing.
  • Eligible to work in either Canada or the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status.
