Overview

Crius Solar is an exciting and rapidly growing member of the Crius Energy family of brands that bridges the gap between the retail and solar energy industries.  Our services span the entire solar project lifecycle including marketing, sales, design, installation and financing solutions. Our goal is to transform the traditional utility model by promoting the spread of a greener, more sustainable source of energy to everyday homeowners while also saving them money relative to their current electric utility.

 

The Outside Sales, Energy Consultant is a face-to-face, outside sales position with opportunity for advancement. This position is a great opportunity for individuals willing to work hard and participate in a hybrid of solar sales and management training. Responsibilities include attending appointments with homeowners interested in going solar, explaining the process and benefits of going solar, and ultimately signing up all interested homeowners who are eligible. Outside Sales, Energy Consultants receive a competitive base salary plus commission as well as other incentives. 

Responsibilities

  • Attends prescheduled appointments with homeowners in their homes.
  • Effectively explains the benefits of solar and the installation process to interested homeowners.
  • Utilizes electronic tools and applications to support the positives of solar energy.
  • Meets quotas of signing contracts with the homeowners.
  • Represent Crius Solar in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Assists with ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience preferred.
  • Home Inspection (HIS) license is required.
  • Prior sales experience.
  • 1 year of solar sales experience preferred.
  • Sales driven mentality with the desire to win.
  • Strong customer service skills with emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong desire for advancement.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
  • Accepts “No” from homeowners and is able to move on. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status)
